Beware Indian E-Retailers, Google To Soon Pick Out Bad Merchants

It’s high time for startups to be in shape as Google is working on a search algorithm that figures out bad merchants to penalize them through search results. And those who are not on the top search results attending 84 percent of the search query, the success of their E-Store would become a risky affair.

This roll out was finalized by Google’s spam fighter Matt Cutt, in his recent session at the SXSW conference in Austin. He said that this would be possibly be done soon because low quality experience merchants would be not be expected in the top search results.

In the fourth quarter of the 2012, the average score of global consumer confidence points to 91. India raced other countries by 121 points. Indian consumer confidence in online shopping grew to 128 percent in 2012, compared to 40 percent a year before. Inspite of all this, complaints are still flooded against the Indian stores.
